South Coast police are investigating an armed robbery late this afternoon at a seven-day supermarket at Christies Beach, according to SA Police.
Just before 5pm, a man armed with a kitchen knife threatened staff at the the IGA supermarket on Gulfview Road, stealing cash for both shop tills.
The suspect described as a male of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 20's about 175cms, wearing a grey hooded top with the wording 'Tap Out" on the front plus black trackpants, fled on foot.
A search of the area including the use of a police dog patrol failed to locate the suspect.
There were no injuries.
