Police are searching for two men after the armed robbery of a bottle shop at Murrumba Downs this afternoon., Queensland Police say
Just after 3pm, two men attended the bottle shop on Dohles Rocks Road on a motorcycle before one of them confronted an employee with a firearm and demanded money from the till.
The male staff member complied with his demands and provided a sum of cash.
The pair then fled on the red motorcycle.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
The motorcycle rider is described as Caucasian in appearance with a slim build and was wearing a sliver or white helmet, a black long sleeved top and dark shorts.
The pillion passenger was wearing a red and grey long sleeved shirt with long dark pants and white sneakers.
Detectives are investigating whether this armed robbery was linked to a similar offence in Morayfield yesterday.
Police are urging anyone who may be able to identify the men to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
