Armed robbery at Pacific Pines, QLD

Police are investigating following a home invasion at Pacific Pines this afternoon where three residents were bound and robbed, Queensland Police say.

Preliminary information suggests around 1.30pm two men entered the Barrington Street residence through an open garage door and threatened three men inside.

The residents were tied up by the men who then proceeded to ransack the home, removing property.

The two men took car keys and fled the scene in one of the victim’s vehicles.

Police attempted to track the vehicle with the assistance of POLAIR however were unable to locate the stolen car.

The vehicle stolen is a silver Holden Astra hatchback Queensland registration 532JYH

No one was physically injured as a result of the incident and investigations are continuing.
