Armed robbery at Sunnybank Hills, QLD

Detectives are investigating after a service station was robbed at Sunnybank Hills this morning.

Shortly before 4am, a man entered a Pinelands Road service station and produced a knife before demanding money and cigarettes.

The staff member complied and the man fled the business on foot with a sum of cash and cigarettes.

A second person was also inside the business at the time.

No one was injured during the incident.

The man is described as Caucasian, approximately 172cm tall, last seen wearing black shorts and a black hoodie.

Investigations are continuing.
