Armed robbery, Bracken Ridge

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a service station early this morning, Queensland Police say.

Initial information suggests just before 5am, two men entered the store on Telegraph Road armed with short axes.

The two men stole the entire cash register containing a sum of money as well as goods from the service station before fleeing the scene in a stolen convertible.

No one was physically injured as a result of the robbery.

Investigations are continuing.
