Armed robbery Greenbank

Police are searching for three men who were armed with a machete, axe and metal wrench when they robbed a tavern at Greenbank in the early hours of this morning.

Around 3.30am the three men went to the front entrance of the tavern at Pub Lane and confronted a 45-year-old male security guard before making their way into the premises.

The men then threatened a 31-year-old female employee before stealing a sum of cash.

The men left in a stolen silver Chrysler 300C sedan with Queensland registration 801 YII. This vehicle was later located destroyed by fire at Green Road and Andalusian Drive, North MacLean.

No one was physically injured during the incident.
