Armed robbery in Bankstown

Police are investigating after a service station was robbed at knifepoint this morning, NSW Police say.

Just before 4am today, three men entered a service station on Chapel Road South, Bankstown.

The men allegedly threatened a male employee with a knife and stole cash, before fleeing.

No one was injured.

Officers from Bankstown Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene that was examined by specialist forensic officers.

Anyone with information that may assist police is urged to come forward.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
