An investigation has commenced following the robbery of a supermarket near Narooma in the state’s south yesterday, NSW Police say.
Shortly before 6pm (Monday 20 August 2018), a man entered a supermarket on Mort Street, Dalmeny, armed with a knife.
He threatened a male staff member and demanded money and cigarettes.
The employee complied and handed the man cash and cigarettes before he ran from the store.
No one was injured during the robbery.
Officers from South Coast Police District were called and have commenced inquiries.
The man is described as being about 185cm tall, aged in his 30s and wearing dark clothing with a balaclava.
