Armed robbery in Pacific Pines, QLD

Detectives are investigating following an armed robbery at a chemist in Pacific Pines tonight, Queensland Police say.

At around 6.15pm a man entered the business on the corner of Pitcairn Way and Pacific Pines Boulevarde armed with a baseball bat.

The man swung the bat it a threatening manner before removing goods from the shelf and leaving the store.

The man then fled the scene on foot and was last seen heading into bushland near the scene.

The shop attendant was not physically injured during the incident.

Police would like to speak to the man pictured as he may be able to assist with the investigation.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 183cm tall, of a slim build with blonde hair.
