Armed robbery in Redbank Plains, QLD

Police are investigating after a service station was robbed in Redbank Plains early this morning, Queensland Police say.

Officers were called to a service station at 1.15am after a man entered the service station on Redbank Plains Road and approached the counter.

He produced a knife and threatened the attendant before demanding cash and cigarettes.

The male attendant complied, and the man fled the scene on foot and was last seen heading towards Argyle Street.

The attendant was not physically injured as a result.

The man is described as being around 185cms tall, Pacific Islander in appearance and had a solid build.
