Armed robbery in Revesby

Police are investigating an armed robbery in Sydney’s south west, NSW Police say.

Between 9pm and 9.30pm today, a 20-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman were walking north on Polo Street, Revesby, when they were approached by two men.

One of the men produced a pistol and demanded cash.

A small amount of cash was handed to the men, as well as a wallet, handbag, and an iphone.

The two offenders then walked away in the direction on Bransgrove Road.

The victims were uninjured.

The first man is described as aged in his late 20s, Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance with a strong accent, 170cm tall, chubby build, short dark brown hair, with a dark beard. He was wearing a grey hooded jumper with the hood covering his head and dark sweat pants.

The second man is described as aged in his early 20s, Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, taller than the first offender, slim build, no facial hair, and he was wearing a black ‘Adidas’ hooded jumper with white writing, and black tracksuit pants.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
