Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred in Shailer Park this afternoon, Queensland Police say.
At around 1.30pm, a man with a quantity of stolen property has exited a business via the emergency exit.
A 19-year-old and a 25-year-old female staff members from the store followed the man and confronted him as he attempted to ride away on a black motorised scooter.
The man dropped the property and threatened the staff members with a knife forcing them to retreat.
The man picked up the property and fled on the scooter.
The man is described as Caucasian, approximately 20 years-of-age, 185cm tall, slim build and tanned complexion.
The man was wearing a black under armour compression top, light khaki shorts, black socks, black Nike shoes and a black cap.
The two female staff members were not injured.
