Armed robbery in Slade Point, QLD

Police are investigating following the armed robbery of a licensed premises in Slade Point this evening, Queensland Police say.

Just before 7:30pm a man entered the drive-through bottle shop attached to the business on Pacific Esplanade, armed with a knife.

The man demanded cash and alcohol from a staff member before fleeing the scene on foot.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

The man (pictured) is described as approximately 180cm tall, of a slim to medium build and was wearing a black hooded jumper, dark jeans with a dark bandana, gloves and glasses.
