Armed robbery; two men flee, NSW

An investigation has commenced following an armed robbery in Sydney’s north-west, NSW Police say.

Police have been told two men, armed with a machete and firearm, forced entry into a licensed premises on Gladesville Road, Hunters Hill, just after 12am today (Saturday 9 December 2017).

The two men threatened staff members before fleeing on a motorbike with a sum of cash.

No employees were injured during the robbery.

Officers attached to Ryde Local Area Command established a crime scene and commenced and investigation.

Inquiries are continuing.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
