Shepparton Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested a man following an alleged firearms incident in Mooroopna yesterday, Victoria Police say.
Investigators have been told a car had been seen stopped in the middle of the road on O’Brien Street near the intersection of Park Street just after 11am.
It is alleged the male driver, who was the sole occupant, was leaning out of the passenger side window with a firearm pointed towards a residence.
The car moved off when another vehicle approached and no shots were fired.
A 29-year-old Shepparton man is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
