Arrest made after break-in at Park Holme, SA

Police have arrested a man after he allegedly broke into a home at Park Holme last night, according to SA Police.

Just after 6pm, Monday 8 May, patrols were called to Nunyah Avenue after a member of the public saw a man breaking into a vacant home.

After a quick response from patrols they located a man walking down the street away from the home. They stopped and spoke to him and located a knife, torch and spanner.

The 34-year-old man from Seacombe Gardens was arrested and charged with property damage, criminal trespass and going equipt to commit an offence.

He was refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court later today.
