Shepparton Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested a man following a series of fires in bushland in the Greater Shepparton area.
It will be alleged eleven fires were lit in Shepparton and Mooroopna between Thursday 1 and Monday 12 May.
The fires impacted numerous plants, trees and grassland, but there were no threats to any properties.
Detectives arrested a 76-year-old Mooroopna man yesterday.
He is expected to be charged on summons.
