Arrests after warrants in Caulfield and McKinnon

Caulfield Divisional Response Unit detectives executed a search warrant on a business address in Caulfield this morning, Victoria Police say.

A large quantity of drugs, cash, mobile phones and an imitation firearm were seized from the Horne Street address about 11.35am.

A 55-year-old Brighton man was arrested and charged with possess drug of dependence and was bailed to appear at the Moorabbin Magistrates’ Court on 14 March.

A 48-year-old Brighton man was arrested and charged with possess drug of dependence, possess the proceeds of crime and firearms offences and was bailed to appear at the Moorabbin Magistrates’ Court on 14 March.

A further warrant was executed on a residential address in Wright Street McKinnon.

Drugs, cash, ammunition and suspected stolen property and weapons were seized.

A 38-year-old McKinnon man was arrested and charged with trafficking and possessing drugs of dependence, possessing the proceeds of crime and weapons offences.

He has been remanded overnight to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 29 December.
