Arrests following drug warrant

Brimbank Divisional Response Unit detectives have arrested five people and seized drugs following a search warrant in St Albans this morning, Victoria Police say.

The warrant at the address on Oberon Avenue was executed in conjunction with Brimbank and Sunshine Crime Investigation Units this morning.

The operation resulted in the seizure of drugs believed to be heroin, meththylamphetamines, and cannabis as well as cash and alleged stolen property.

Those arrested were:

-62-year-old St Albans man – Arrested on three outstanding warrants for failing to appear in court.

-23-year-old St Albans man – Arrested on two outstanding warrants for failing to appear in court.

-46-year-old St Albans woman - Charged with traffick and possess drugs

-62-year-old St Albans woman - Charged with traffick and possess drugs

-34-year-old St Albans man - Charged with possess drugs

All five have been remanded to appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
