Arrests Made in Alice Springs Aggravated Burglary 11 February

The NT Police Force has arrested three males in relation to an aggravated burglary that occurred in Alice Springs in the early hours of this morning.

Around 12:45am, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre received a report of an unlawful entry at a residence on Dixon Road, Braitling.

It is alleged three male offenders gained entry by breaking a glass panel at the front door of the residence, which was occupied by a male and a female in their 40s. The offenders were allegedly armed with edged weapons and threatened one of the occupants, demanding they hand over car keys.

The offenders subsequently searched through the house before fleeing the scene.

Police responded and a crime scene was declared. No injuries were reported to police and investigations are ongoing to determine if any items were stolen.

Later this morning, police arrested three males aged 14, 17 and 18-years-old. They remain in police custody as investigations continue.
