Arrests - Unlawful entry - Darwin

Two people have been arrested after a restaurant in Darwin was unlawfully entered shortly before midnight last night.

A 28-year-old male and 34-year-old female were located by police shortly after the unlawful entry. Both were allegedly in possession of several unopened bottles of alcohol believed to have been taken from the restaurant.

Superintendent of Darwin Gavin Kennedy said that police will continue to show a zero tolerance for property crime in Darwin city.

Both alleged offenders will be charged with aggravated unlawful entry and stealing.
