Lisa said, "I'm very excited to showcase a broader and varied aspect of my practice with the TAMA community. I'm deeply thankful for the initial introduction of my work in 2020 through the group exhibition Looking Through Time - Basketry from the TAMA Collection. after ever here offers the opportunity to share a greater depth of my practice with the community. I'm truly grateful for the ongoing support and opportunities over the years."

Ararat Rural City Council Mayor, Cr Bob Sanders said the artist talk was a welcome opportunity for the community to connect with a leading contemporary First Nations artist and a highly experienced curator.

"Lisa's work connects strongly to our region's roots and this event gives local people the chance to hear those stories first-hand from the artist and curator, right here in our own gallery. Ararat Gallery TAMA is honoured to host this exhibition. We know that when we support high-quality arts experiences in Ararat, we are investing in a stronger, more connected community," he said.

after ever here will continue until Sunday 16 August 2026.
