Police are appealing for public assistance to identify a man who may be able to assist investigators after five people were assaulted in Dutton Park and South Brisbane.
Around 5pm on 10 August, the man approached a 32-year-old South Brisbane man near the intersection of Melbourne Street and Hope Street in South Brisbane and punched him.
The unprovoked incident knocked the victim unconscious. He later sought medical assessment and the men are not known to each other.
Around 2.30pm on 13 September, the man physically assaulted two 28-year-old Annerley men, a 25-year-old Annerley man and a 65-year-old Annerley man in four separate unprovoked incidents at a Dutton Park train station.
The man subsequently fled on foot.
The 28-year-old Annerley men attended hospital for medical treatment.
Responding officers conducted patrols but were unable to locate the man.
The man is described as having a tanned complexion with a solid build, 180 to 190cm tall, a small patch style beard on his chin and moustache, black hair styled into a short mullet style haircut.
He was wearing a dark blue shoulder strap bag during the incidents.
