Attempted abduction at Prospect, SA

Police are investigating an attempted abduction which occurred overnight at Prospect, according to SA Police.

At about 7.30pm on Thursday 25 August, a teenage girl was walking along the footpath on Charles Street near Churchill Road, when a car stopped and a man got out of the rear driver's side passengers seat.

He approached the girl and tried to grab her however, she immediately ran off.

The suspect was then seen get back into the car which drove off along King Street.

He is described as being about 178cm tall, skinny build and wearing leather gloves and a jacket. The car is described as a silver four door sedan with shiny paintwork and star shaped alloy wheels.

The victim was not physically injured.
