Police have released images of a man they are seeking in relation to an attempted armed robbery at a Rockhampton service station last night, May 25.
Around 8.30pm, an unknown male has entered a business on the corner of Kent Lane and Albert Street armed with a hammer and demanded cash and cigarettes from an employee.
No one was physically injured, and the man fled along Albert Street empty handed.
He is described as Caucasian with a solid build and approximately 175cm tall and was wearing dark clothing, including a hooded jacket and face mask.
Police are appealing to the man in the image, or anyone who may have witnessed the incident or recognise the man, to come forward.
Investigations are continuing.
