Attempted armed robbery at Hendra, QLD

Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery of a woman in her Audi at Hendra this evening, Queensland Police say.

Initial inquiries indicate a woman was parking her vehicle in the garage at The Promenade around 7.50 pm.

She was confronted by two men, who exited a stolen Black, Holden Trax, SUV wagon (pictured) and approached the driver side window. One man was armed with a gun.

The woman locked the doors and sounded the horn.

Both men returned to the other vehicle and fled.

Anyone who observes the vehicle are advised to contact police and not to approach the vehicle.

Police are seeking any witnesses or dashcam footage from anyone who was driving in that area at that time to contact police.

Police investigations are continuing.
