Police are investigating the attempted armed robbery of a convenience store at Paradise Point early this morning, Queensland Police say.
Around 5.45am a man armed with a metal bar has entered the business on Oxley Drive and made demands for money. The shop attendant has become involved in a struggle with the man and the man has then fled the scene.
The attendant followed the man out of the store and has observed the man to leave the scene in what is describe as a 90’s model white utility.
The man is described as approximately 160cm tall with a slim build.
