Mildura Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating following an attempted armed robbery in Mildura on Friday., Victoria Police say
The incident took place at an Asian grocery store on Deakin Avenue just after 5pm.
Investigators have been told that two men, armed with knives, approached the attendant and demanded money.
The attendant refused to hand over any money and the men ran from the store.
Detectives believe there were a number of customers in the store at the time and are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident.
