Police have charged a 23-year-old Zillmere man with attempted arson following investigations into a suspicious fire at Zillmere last night, Queensland Police say.
Police will allege they were called to a Hanford Road property at 8.45pm following reports of a man running from a yard where a fire was burning at the property.
Emergency services extinguished the fire which had caused minor damage.
Police will further allege they attended the address and apprehended a man soon after.
A 23-year-old man has been charged with attempted arson and will appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
