Police have charged a man after he was arrested at Cleveland yesterday, 15 March.
It will be alleged at 7pm on Saturday 14 March, a number of men attempted to break into a home on Crotona Road, Capalaba.
Entry wasn't gained but the men allegedly stole security cameras from the property before leaving the scene.
At 3.50pm yesterday, 15 March, officers attended an address in Buenavista Avenue Thornlands in relation to an incident however the man they wished to speak with had already left the residence.
At 5.20pm, police located the man on Middle Street, Cleveland.
A 35-year-old Dunwich man has been charged with one count each of attempted enter dwelling with intent uses/threatens violence whilst armed in company damages property, and stealing in relation to the Capalaba incident on 14 March.
He has also been charged with one count of contravention of domestic violence order in relation to the Thornlands incident on 15 March.
He is expected to appear in Cleveland Magistrates Court today, 16 March.
A short time later police located the suspect in Middle Street Cleveland where he was arrested and taken into custody in relation to this and other outstanding matters.
