Attempted burglary in Bayswater

Detectives from Knox Crime Investigation Unit are appealing for public assistance following an attempted burglary which occurred in Bayswater last month.

Officers have been told a man attended a residential address on Victoria Road about 7.35pm on 9 February.

He looked into the property through a front window and then attempted to gain entry by shoulder charging the front door.

He was unsuccessful in his attempts and left the property.

The offender was last seen heading towards Scoresby Road.

He is perceived to be Caucasian, 30 to 40-years-old, bald, bearded and with a large tattoo on his right arm.

At the time of the offence he was wearing a black singlet, dark pants and white runners.

Investigators have released images of a man they believe can assist with their enquiries.
