Attempted Dandenong ATM burglary

Greater Dandenong Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating after two men attempted to seal cash ATM in Dandenong this month.

Two males in a white Toyota Hilux two-door ute arrived at market on Clow Street about 3am on 6 July.

They forced open a room to access the ATM, attempting to steal the money inside.

The men were unsuccessful and both got back into the vehicle and drove away.

The first man is described as tall with a slim build and a large nose and was wearing a black jacket, dark jeans and black and white shoes.

The second man is described as having a solid build and was wearing a cammo hooded top, blue and black jacket, dark pants and a surgical mask.

Investigators have released images of the men they believe will be able to assist with their enquiries.

Anyone who recognises the men or the vehicle or with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
