Attempted murder charges at Coopers Plains, QLD

Detectives have charged a woman with attempted murder following investigations into a unit fire at Coopers Plains on the weekend, Queensland Police say.

The 26-year-old woman had previously been charged with one count each of arson and endangering property by fire.

It is alleged she set fire to a unit in a complex on Comer Street around 3.50pm on Saturday.

The blaze caused extensive damage.

The woman appeared in the Holland Park Magistrates Court charged with four counts of attempted murder.

She was remanded in custody to reappear on October 26.
