A man has been charged with attempted murder following an alleged domestic violence incident on the Central Coast last night, NSW Police say.
Police were called to a home at Picnic Parade, Ettalong Beach, about 7.10pm today and located a 35-year-old woman suffering critical injuries.
Police commenced CPR until the arrival of NSW Ambulance paramedics who took the woman to Gosford Hospital. She remains in a critical condition.
A 34-year-old man was arrested at the home and taken to Gosford Police Station where he has been charged with attempt to strangle/suffocate with intent to murder.
He was refused bail to appear at Gosford Local Court tomorrow.
