Police are investigating an attempted robbery at the Elimatta Hotel in Devonport last night, Tasmania Police say.
Around 10pm a man approached a security guard and demanded money. He was unsuccessful and fled the area on a motorbike.
Police are seeking assistance from members of the public that may have seen or heard:
- a motorbike in Lower Madden Street, Devonport, or in the general area of the Elimatta Hotel, around 10pm last night.
- a man on a motorbike, loitering on Lower Madden Street around 8:30pm Sunday night.
