Transit Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance following an attempted robbery on a train earlier this month.
Investigators have been told a 26-year-old man with an electric scooter got on a citybound train at Williams Landing around 10.15pm on 2 January 2026.
As the train approached Aircraft train station the victim was approached by a man who attempted to grab the scooter.
A short scuffle ensued and the offender hit the victim to the chin but was unsuccessful in stealing the scooter.
The offender then got off at Aircraft railway station.
Detectives have released images of a man that they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
