Team Defence Australia (TDA) assisted a record 60 Australian defence industry companies to showcase Australia's defence aerospace capability and innovation to global markets at the recent Singapore Airshow.

The 10th edition of the biennial event was held from February 3 to 8 at the Changi Exhibition Centre in Singapore.

For the first time, a two-day Space Summit was held, featuring a space-focused conference and exhibition.

Assistant Secretary for the Policy, Events and International Programs Branch Liane Pettitt said TDA's involvement at the Singapore Airshow illustrated its dynamic, proactive and targeted program.

"Team Defence Australia provides opportunities to increase the profile of Australian defence industry to key decision-makers in international markets," Ms Pettitt said.

"With more than 1000 defence industry companies from more than 50 countries, the Singapore Airshow provides a prime opportunity for the global defence aerospace community to converge and connect through networking and engagement."

"With a range of valuable opportunities for networking, a platform for business, access to relevant content and live-action demonstrations, there is a mutual benefit for both Australian defence industry and Defence."
