Aussie Tradies' Easter Surprise for Aged Care Home

Shepparton tradies spread some Easter cheer earlier this week when they surprised their local Aged Care Home ahead of the Easter long weekend.

Wearing their signature 'hi-vis' attire with Easter bunny ears and decorated masks, they helped the Easter Bunny deliver chocolate treats for some of Shepparton's finest at Menarock Life Aged Care.

Plasterers from Goulburn Valley Plaster said the idea came about during 'smoko', when they began thinking about this time last year, where "so many people in aged care were unable to have an Easter".

"We really wanted to make it extra special for them this year," General Manager Brad Parsons said.

Local resident Judy Lloyd admitted she was very surprised by the gesture and very thankful.

"I couldn't believe my eyes," she gloated. "It was very special. Reminded me of Easter egg hunting when we were kids".

The video has been posted to GV Plaster and is not only spreading Easter cheer to Menarock Life Aged Care but from all parts of Australia and beyond.
