Australia Post is supporting our team competing at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games with the release of a dedicated instant stamp program, honouring the Australians who strike gold in the 35th Winter Olympic Games.
Each stamp is specially created following our Aussie athlete's gold medal ceremony, featuring their official Winter Olympic medal ceremony image on each unique stamp. The sheetlet of ten stamps will be available for online orders and in Post Offices across Australia within one week.
Australia's current Winter Olympics medal tally stands at 19 medals: six gold, seven silver and six bronze. Australia Post is encouraging fans to celebrate their favourite athlete by taking home an official gold medal stamp.
Australia Post General Manager Retail Product & Supply Chain, Kayla Le Cornu said the stamp program honours the significant achievements of Australia's gold-medal winners.
"Celebrating our Winter Olympic athletes' gold-medal moments with their own stamp is a special way to recognise their amazing achievements and allow Australians to share in the excitement.
"These stamps capture a moment in history, not only celebrating their success but also serving as a lasting memento of what these athletes have accomplished on the world stage. It's a way for families, fans and communities across the country to take home and treasure a piece of that achievement," Ms Le Cornu said.
Each stamp will be available at participating Post Offices and for online order within a week of Australian gold medal ceremonies at www.auspost.com.au/shop/collectables/olympics.
