Applications are now open for Round 8 of the Australian Heritage Grants program.
The program helps protect and promote the National Heritage Values of places listed on the National Heritage List. Each year, $5.3 million is available to support projects that:
- maintain, protect, conserve or improve how listed sites are managed and accessed
- help communities learn about and connect with National Heritage Values.
All places included on the National Heritage List are eligible to receive funding.
The list is Australia's official register of natural, Indigenous and historic sites that hold national significance. We're committed to protecting these places for future generations.
Round 8 closes on 5 December 2025.
