Local writer, Susannah Glenn, joined Kempsey Library for a fantastic Author talk on her latest book, the electrifying psychological suspense novel, 'Without a Trace'.
We had a great turnout with 12 participants.
This was our first event collaborating with Collins Booksellers Port Macquarie for the book sales (thank you, Mady and Ellie), which went really well.
Susannah spoke beautifully about what she loved about writing, from setting being its own character, the challenges of a three-narrator storyline and overcoming imposter syndrome. She also detailed how one of her favourite characters (Moira) reflected the lives of so many of her cherished peers and of many women in society who are dealing with so much and looking for ways to reconnect with what makes their lives meaningful.
