Stonnington's next hard waste collection takes place from 30 March to 5 May.
You can find your collection date on your hard waste flyer, the hard waste webpage or via the MyStonnington app.
Last year, over 80% of hard waste collected went to landfill. Before putting items out, consider whether they can be repaired, sold or donated.
And remember, not all items belong in hard waste, last year's most commonly unaccepted items were paint, cement sheeting and unbundled green waste.
Our autumn hard waste flyer will start hitting letterboxes mid-March. It explains everything you need to know about the collection, including exact collection dates for your property, when to put items out and what items are accepted.
Commercial properties and apartments will also receive flyers, with a number to call to arrange a collection.
