Back on training field

Sports teams are back training on Bayside sportsgrounds following the easing of COVID-19 restrictions. AFL and soccer teams are commencing to train on weeknights only.

Council is working with all Bayside sports clubs to ensure that COVID-19 physical and hygiene restrictions and precautions are followed in the return to training. The health and safety of our players, sports officials and community is our top priority.

Timing

At this stage, no games or weekend training are currently permitted.

With the need to get as many of our players safely back on the field as possible, training may commence earlier in the afternoons than in the past.

We are currently working to publish training schedules on our website to provide opportunity for other users to plan sportsground visits outside of training times.
