Police are appealing for public assistance following a robbery at Kingsford, NSW Police say.
About 8.15pm today, a 73-year-old woman was approached by a male in a car park area on Anzac Parade who grabbed her handbag.
Fearing she would fall over, the woman released her grip from the bag. The man ran off with the handbag and was last seen running down Sturt Street with a second man who was not described.
Police from Eastern Beaches Local Area Command were notified and are investigating the incident.
Officers would like to speak with a male who may be able to assist with inquiries.
He is described as being aged between 15 to 18 years old and was wearing a white hat, white top and black shorts.
