Melbourne Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance to identify a burglar who broke into a Melbourne bakery last month, Victoria Police say.
The burglar entered the Bourke Street premise by kicking open a rear door at 8pm on 24 September.
After gaining entry to the bakery the burglar did a good job of cleaning the floor as he made his way around the store on his hands and knees.
After opening up all the doors, cupboards and drawers in the premises the burglar left empty-handed.
Investigators have released CCTV footage and an image of a man they believe can assist with their enquiries.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
