Ballarat erratic drivers arrested

Ballarat police have arrested two teenage girls following a string of erratic driving incidents on Wednesday, Victoria Police say.

Numerous reports were made to police of a black Hyundai allegedly driving erratically in the Ballarat, Ballarat North, Victoria Park, and Wendouree area, between 9am and 2pm.

Police arrested two 18-year-old women on the day, charging them with various driving offences, and other offences including handle stolen goods, theft and reckless conduct endangering life.

They will appear at the Ballarat Magistrates’ Court on 23 February.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the vehicle on the day, who has not already spoken to police, to contact Crime Stoppers.
