Banditos member arrested for drug trafficking, SA

A member of the Banditos Outlaw Motorcycle Gang (OMCG) was arrested for serious offences yesterday, according to SA Police.

On Tuesday 10 January detectives from the Serious and Organised Crime Branch attended and searched a Salisbury Downs home locating several prohibited weapons including a taser and throwing knives, an amount of methamphetamine and a stolen car and trailer.

A 31-year-old Salisbury Downs man was charged with trafficking a controlled drug, two counts of possess prohibited weapon and two counts of theft. The man was refused bail and will appear at the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 13 January.
