Bank deception in Airport West

Police from Avondale Heights are investigating an incident which occurred in Airport West last month (15 May).

Investigators have been told a woman attended a bank at a shopping centre on Louis Street and produced stolen identification in an attempt to activate a stolen credit card about 10am.

The woman left the bank after failing to have the card activated by staff and exited the shopping centre via the nothern exit.

She is described as aged in her 20's with a tanned complexion with a medium build, should length dark hair and was wearing dark pants, a white shirt and white buttoned up cardigan.
