Barking up the wrong tree in Glen Waverley

Monash Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance following a burglary at a Glen Waverley pet store in May, Victoria Police say.

It is believed a man attended the O’Sullivan Road precinct about midnight on Sunday, 28 May, where he was looking through business windows.

He returned to the area about 3.30am and smashed a window to gain entry to the pet store.

The man looked through the cash register but fled when he realised there was no cash on site.

Police have released images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

The man is described as Caucasian and aged between 40 and 50 years old with a solid build.

He was wearing a dark blue hooded jumper initially and then a maroon-coloured hoodie.

Anyone with information or who may have witnessed the incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
