Bass Coast Waste Facilities open for business

In light of the government's advice to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus, Bass Coast Shire Council is continuously reviewing the services it can safely provide to the community.

Bass Coast Shire Mayor, Cr Brett Tessari said that all kerbside waste collections are operating as normal and Waste Facilities remain open in Bass Coast.

"Please continue to put your bins out on your usual collection days," Cr Tessari said.

"Council's Waste Facilities in Cowes, Grantville, Inverloch and Wonthaggi remain open, but are not currently accepting cash payments. Please take your debit or credit card with you to pay for your waste disposal."

"Council will continue to monitor the situation and may need to make changes to these services in the future," Cr Tessari said.

Regular updates will be provided via Council's website at www.basscoast.vic.gov.au/covid19 as well as on social media.
